How do I convince them to use the System?

From the ground up, we have designed our systems, policies, training and facilities to service families of domestic violence. We understand and we want to be a partner in your safety and security.

Here are some ideas you are welcome to use as discussion points if you’re having some difficulty convincing a loved one how important DEMi™ really is…

• Just like you worry about me, I worry about you. I know how important it is for you to be independent and I think I’ve found something that will make both of us feel better.

• DEMi™ doesn’t mean that you are giving anything up. In fact, just the opposite, the system is designed to provide safety without interrupting your life. You can go about your day and if something goes wrong, you’ll be in contact with a Care Specialist, specially trained to get you any help you might need. The Care Specialist will get whatever help you need and you can contact them anytime!

• You never have to worry. Even if you accidentally push the button, all you have to do is tell the Care Specialist that everything is OK. That’s all there is to it.

• DEMi™ is just like insurance. You should have it but, you hope you’ll never have to use it.
